Why doesn't the booking form show on my website?

Usually a cache or optimisation plugin delays the Resovu script, a cookie banner blocks it, or the editor removed the code. Exclude resovu from JavaScript optimisation, allow www.resovu.com, or test with the Iframe code from Settings β†’ Embed.

How to do it

  1. Code removed by the editor β†’ Paste it into an HTML or code block, not a text block. In the page source look for widget.js.

  2. Cache or optimisation plugin β†’ Plugins that combine, defer or delay JavaScript stop the widget. Exclude "resovu" (widget.js) and clear the cache. The WordPress plugin does this itself for WP Rocket, Autoptimize, LiteSpeed Cache, SiteGround Optimizer and Cloudflare Rocket Loader.

  3. Cookie banner blocks it β†’ Banners that block third-party scripts or iframes hold back the booking. Allow www.resovu.com as necessary or functional, or load the form only after a click with data-consent="click".

  4. Your site's security policy (CSP) β†’ If the browser console shows "Refused to load", add https://www.resovu.com to script-src and frame-src.

  5. Wrong address in an iframe β†’ Only the /embed address can be shown in a frame, as in the Iframe code. An iframe with your /book page is refused by the browser.

  6. Wrong business ID β†’ data-tenant in the code must be the ID shown in Settings β†’ Embed. Copy the code again rather than typing it.

  7. Quick test β†’ Paste the Iframe code, which works without JavaScript. If it shows, the problem is in scripts on your site.

  8. Still nothing β†’ Write to us from Support with the address of the page.

Tips and common mistakes

  • Test in a private window after clearing the cache – a cached page may still serve the old version.
  • The Popup button code shows a floating button in the bottom-right corner, not a button in the text. For a button in a specific place use Booking for a product or page.
  • In WordPress, Tools β†’ Site Health shows whether the booking page and script are reachable.

Frequently asked questions

The form shows but is cut off. What now?

The Iframe code has a fixed height of 700 px. Use the Widget code, which adjusts the height, or raise min-height in the iframe.

Card payment does not open in the embedded booking.

Payment opens on a secure Stripe page. Keep allow="payment" in the iframe code and do not block pop-ups or redirects from www.resovu.com.
