How do I take a deposit and the balance for a stay?

In the unit set the deposit as a percentage and the balance due X days before arrival. The guest pays by card or payment link – or by bank transfer with a QR code if you turn on Deposit by bank transfer.

How to do it

1. In the unit → Fees & tax set the deposit as a percentage.
2. Turn on the online balance and set how many days before arrival it is due.
3. The guest gets a payment link, or the balance is charged to the saved card automatically.
4. With Deposit by bank transfer (Settings → Payment methods) the guest pays the deposit by QR transfer and later gets a balance request with a QR code.

Tips and common mistakes

• Guests who book after the balance due date pay the full price straight away.
