How does the booking waitlist work?

When a time or class is full, customers join the waitlist. For classes the first in line gets an e-mail and a held place; for appointments everyone waiting is e-mailed and the first to book gets it. Settings → Booking, Professional plan and up.

How to do it

1. Open Settings → Booking and turn on the waitlist.
2. When a time or class is full, customers join the list.
3. For classes the first person in line gets an e-mail and the place is held for them for a while; for appointments everyone waiting for that time is e-mailed and the first to book gets it.

Tips and common mistakes

• Available from the Professional plan.
• You can turn off the automatic e-mails and book people from the waitlist yourself.

Why it matters

Cancelled places fill themselves – no phoning round for a stand-by.
