How do I set early bird and last minute prices?
Open the service (Services → service) or the unit (Accommodation → unit → Prices & seasons), find Price by booking time and turn it on. Lower or raise the price by an amount or percentage for bookings made well ahead or shortly before the start. Starter plan and up.
How to do it
Services: open Services and the service. Accommodation: open Accommodation → the unit → Prices & seasons.
In Price by booking time turn on Turn on price by booking time.
Early bird: set When booked at least … hours before (accommodation: days before), choose Lower by or Raise by and enter an amount or percentage.
Last minute: set When booked less than … hours before and the Price change in the same way. Optionally add a Label for customers.
Services only: set Lowest price and Highest price to limit how far the price can move, then save.
Check it: on your booking page pick a date the rule covers – the new price shows with its label and until when it applies.
Tips and common mistakes
- Example: Early bird at least 14 days before, Lower by 10 % – nightly rent of 2,000 Kč booked three weeks ahead costs 1,800 Kč.
- Limits: 1 hour to 400 days before; at most 90 % lower or 200 % higher; the last minute threshold must be shorter than the early bird one.
- Accommodation: the change applies to the nightly rent, not to cleaning or fees, and not to units priced by PriceLabs. An amount is per night.
- The price the customer was shown is kept for 30 minutes, even if a threshold passes while they book.
Why it matters
Early bird fills your calendar ahead of time; last minute sells free places or charges more for short-notice bookings – without changing prices by hand.
Frequently asked questions
Is it the same price for everyone?
Yes. It is a published price by booking time, not a personal price. You are responsible for your prices and how you present them; some countries have specific rules for announcing discounts.
Does it combine with coupons and other discounts?
Yes. Price by booking time sets the base price; automatic discounts and coupons are counted from it.
