How do I set how far in advance customers can book?

In Settings β†’ Opening hours & times, under Free time settings, set Minimum notice (how soon before the start) and Book up to (how many days ahead), then click Save changes. Accommodation sets this on each unit's Rules tab.

How to do it

  1. Open Settings β†’ Opening hours & times.

  2. Under How customers book select Free times from opening hours – Free time settings appear only then.

  3. Under Free time settings choose Minimum notice: No limit, 30 min, or 1, 2, 4, 12, 24 or 48 h.

  4. Choose Book up to: 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 180 or 365 days.

  5. Optional: set Offer start times every (10–120 min).

  6. Click Save changes.

  7. Check Free times preview: the earliest time shown respects the notice.

Tips and common mistakes

  • Defaults: Minimum notice 1 h, Book up to 60 days.
  • Example: with 24 h notice, a customer booking on Monday at 15:00 sees Tuesday 15:00 as the earliest time.
  • Your own manual bookings in the admin are limited by neither setting.
  • Accommodation: Accommodation β†’ unit β†’ Rules β†’ Advance notice (days) (0 = today) and How far ahead (days).

Why it matters

Notice gives you time to prepare, and a limited window stops bookings for dates when your plans may still change.

Frequently asked questions

Do these limits apply to classes and events?

No. In Fixed sessions (events) mode customers can book a session until it starts. To stop bookings earlier, set the session to Draft.

Can each service have its own notice?

No, the setting applies to all services. Accommodation sets it per unit.
