How do I block dates for my rental (repairs, own stay)?

Open Accommodation → the unit → Calendars and under Blocked dates enter the First night and Last night, add a note and click Block. Guests cannot book those nights, and the portals see them through the iCal links.

How to do it

  1. Open Accommodation → the unit → Calendars.

  2. Under Blocked dates enter the First night and the Last night.

  3. Optional: add a Note, e.g. bathroom repair.

  4. Click Block.

  5. To reopen the nights, click Delete next to the block.

  6. Check the result on the Accommodation page under Occupancy, where the nights show as Blocked.

Tips and common mistakes

  • You enter nights, not days: First night 10 and Last night 12 blocks 3 nights; a guest can still leave on the 10th and arrive on the 13th.
  • Dates from other platforms are listed separately and cannot be deleted here – they come back with the next sync.
  • To hide a unit completely, turn off Available for booking on the Basics tab.
  • The portals see the block only when they next read the link – Airbnb roughly every 3 hours.

Why it matters

Closing the dates in one place stops bookings on your website and on the portals at once.

Frequently asked questions

Can I block all units at once?

No, blocked dates are set per unit.

How is it different from preparation days?

Preparation days on the Rules tab automatically block days around every stay. Blocked dates are one-off periods you choose.
